Brass and Copper Standoffs

Wow... I took entirely too many pics!! Thank you rick and rob. These are suuper cool. :D I cant wait for same versions for LBS and ano hardware ofcorse! ;) I put the brass on the custom bronze ano wharnie, and I put the copper on the custom spearpoint w blue ano pocket clip n tab. :) I grabbed a spare set of each so I have either choice on both knives...or future XMs :)

Yeah, I think I'm a Ti guy too, but these are growing on me. Took the bronze ano off this morning to give these a try. Going to throw a set on my bronze ano knife tonight just to see what they look like.

^ a silver crusader handle nut and silver darkness skull filler tab would look great on there. Not to jump across threads here but I did. :)
 
Nice combo David! I was thinking about doing something like that, too many scales so little time..!
 
My copper are inbound. So, should they go on a stonewashed XM or a bronze ano. (either standard bronze or the blasted chocolate bronze)? Thoughts?
 
I was going to try both combos tonight when I get home hopefully :) I'm thinking they will look sweet on the bronze ano...
 
Just got my copper and my tool. Gonna wait on my scale to do everything at once. Decided on the dark green XM texture. I would like to see some pics of how the copper matches up with the bronze.
 
N2K - Both look great on bronze ano. my custom wharnie has a darker more solid bronze ano to it...the brass really POPS w that color. but so would the copper. you think you got it figured out...until they are in hand. you guys will love em.
 
Picked up a translucent green frag scale from Monkey Edge. Hadn't given that color scale much thought, but I absolutely love it with the copper standoffs on non-anodized. The brass with bronze anodized dropped to second place now.



 
^ both look amazing lsheldon. Especially the copper with the translucent and the sterile blade. Wow very clean.
 
I can't agree more. I love the look of that textured CF. Don't shun me, but I might prefer it over the smooth CF....Will that comment get me banned? :D

I will say that whenever the time comes, I would grab either one gratefully. And who knows, after trying both I might prefer the smooth!
 
Just curious but were these only made for the xm 3.5? Ive got at 24 and ordered one set each of the Ti standoffs when they were in stock a few weeks ago. Which are totally wicked BTW. I really hope I didn't miss the chance to get copper and brass.
