Hosted Knifemaker Forums

BladeForums.com has a rich and vibrant community that is dedicated in enriching all aspects of the knife industry.  As such, we provide hosted knifemaker forums where members with KnifeMaker paid subscriptions can interact with forum members, solicit feedback, post ideas & offer merchandise for sale in a setting that not only supports but encourages them.

  1. What does it take to have a hosted knifemaker forum?
  2. Are there restrictions on what content I post?
  3. What will be expected of me?
  4. I'm ready to take the plunge, what do I do now?

What does it take to have a hosted knifemaker forum?
It's incredibly easy. We require that you purchase 3 years of a KnifeMaker's membership to show us you are serious about investing your time & energy into this. Don't worry, you get the full 3 years of membership benefits; this is just your way of showing your level of commitment.

Are there restrictions on what content I post?
Unlike certain social media groups, we only ask that you follow applicable federal & state laws when offering your products or services. Please see the site rules for further information.

What will be expected of me?
Simply put, you get out of it what you put into it. Knifemaker's who invest their time & energy interacting with custoomers, producing fresh content from sale postings to WIPs to shop talks will find that they have a ready & willing customer base who will support them. If you neglect your subforum it will wither & die. If you fail to maintain your knifemaker membership subscription & activity on your forum lapses due to your lack of involvement, it will be closed & archived.

I'm ready to take the plunge, what do I do now?
If you've paid your 3 years of Knifemaker's membership fees, then post a thread in the Tech Support forum with the following information:
Thread title: "Hosted Knifemaker Forum: [Your desired forum title]"
In the body of the thread you'll need to provide your Paypal transaction ID for your membership purchases, then a short description for your forum, and a link to any website you wish displayed (optional).

Once that is complete, Spark will activate your Hosted Knifemaker Forum ASAP.
