Where in Africa? I helped establish Camp Lemonier in 2002.Here's my original issue Gerber from when I got to my first unit in 2007. It has spent time in Iraq and Afghanistan and is scheduled for some time in Africa next year! I haven't used the blade that much, but the pliers have come in handy countless times!

So cool!It is a Oregon Knife Collectors Club 1998 club knife. They made 60 of them. I think the various wood varieties on the handle are all native to Oregon.
