💥Blast from the Past💥 (unofficial nostalgic older knife thread)

My Dad was stationed in Japan in 55/56, I was born while he was gone (in1955). He brought this M4 back with him and used it all the years of my youth as his hunting/hiking/camping knife. He gave it to me in 1990 when I was preparing to deploy for Desert Storm (my unit never deployed). He said to keep it, I finally took it with me to OIF in 2003. Eventually it will go to another Soldier in our family. Picture of Dad from 1955 when he was overseas in the 508th RCT, and one of his patches from his last unit, the 101st. The bayonet was from WW-II.

I gotta find some of my oldies! Loved seeing the old Rekats in this thread!! When I went to buy my first good knife, it was between a REKAT and the EDI Genesis 2. Went with the Genesis 2, hated it after using it for a day at work. I had to cut down cardboard, styrofoam and other stuff a lot where I worked and I got so many hot spots from that knife it wasn't funny! Bud Nealy Pesh Kab was my first custom knife and I got it at the Timonium Knife show in the early 2000's. I have a Tom Andersom Howler that was the Folder In raffle prize knife as well from the early 2000's.

I have an older Kershaw Ricocet in 440V; years ago, I sent it out to someone to make some Titanium scales for it, which it still wears! Mini MT Socom, MT DCC, MT Vector, Benchmade Ascent, original leatherman Supertool, bunch of older Kershaws (some Hinderer stuff, RJ Martin Designed stuff), CRKT M4's, etc. I even found an older custom knife I made back in the early 2000's I think in ATS-34 with Bocote handles on it!

Anyone have pictures of Tim Hermans stuff? I remember the mIRC days and seeing Tim post pictures and stuff, anyone know if he is still around or have pics of his stuff?
