💥Blast from the Past💥 (unofficial nostalgic older knife thread)

I have one of those somewhere. I liked the idea, but didn't carry it much. The knife rattled in the sheath. I hope yours doesn't do that. Thanks for sharing.
I pulled it out to try boot carry and it did well actually. It has a touch of rattle but in my boot it doesn't.

It's a long story🤣

I really like the knife and an starting to wonder if it's not worth it to have a kydex sheath made for it complete with cutout for the clip to lock it in place. I've like you never loved the sheath but the idea and knife are awesome so I guess we'll see I just might.

To update. For now I've modified a leather sheath I have to accommodate the clip lock setup and solve the rattle problem.
I want to have a kydex sheath made but that'll have to wait till finances allow it.
Yes I could have just carried it in the leather sheath but then the clip lock wouldn't have been of any use so I spent the time to make it work and it does so really really well.

Carries on my belt without any rattle and should carry on my boot nicely which was the idea for carrying this knife.

The Del Tin cinquedea that used to be carried by Kult of Athena was a real beauty. It was 25" OAL with an 18" blade.

Here is a better photo.

This is a very old photo of an example Bill Siegle made for me about 25 years ago.

I like your sheath. How do you attach it to your belt or boot?

Here are a couple of similar knives from Blackie Collins.

thank you sir!

this is a really tremendous thread that brings back alot of old memories! I will try to share some of my humble collection too.

Going through some of my older, modern (oxy moron) knives from 20 plus yrs back and came across this Benchmade Gravitator that I drilled and tapped for a "tip up" carry way back when.
Still a smooth opening knife with rock solid lock up.
