I'm having Alex Dietz make a CF scale for it and I'm having the lockside anodized a deep bronze![]()
I currently have no other ZT's (sold my 350, 550 and 561). I will try to take a comparison pic with some other well known knives tonight sometime.
I have L-XL hands and can almost get about a four finger grip.
I've got one on preorder, but to tell you the truth, I was expecting a full-grip knife like the 0550. Your statement worries me, especially as I have size L hands too.

The handle on the 0801 is one tenth of an inch longer than the 0550 and one thousandth of an inch smaller around. Hardly any difference at all really.
It's not only about the numbers on the spec sheet, but also how the handle is shaped. The flipper usually takes up some real estate. I don't think it'll be long before video reviews start popping up on YouTube.
