1 belt knife to rule them all

Though it's long gone, I'd say my old Chris Reeve Shadow IV would have been my choice. I know some people aren't big fans but I really loved the size, blade shape, round handle, and the substantial weight. My only problem was, I couldn't bring myself to ever use it! When I buy another, I'll definitely put it through some rough use.

I love the shadow series... I was really conflicted to choose my shadow 1 or the Randall 14..... and here is the secret when buying Chris reeve knives buy 2 of each... one for the safe one to use! and if you want a shadow again the prices are go up because they are not made anymore

Busse NMSFNO Nuclear Meltdown Special Forces Natural Outlaw

Not to be _anyhow_ offensive - and by my sheer ignorance - may I ask how they make up those names?
I tried translating that in my mind but I passed out.

Becker Crewman (camilus version)

It'll change to K-Bar Becker Crewman when they come off the line. Best knife ever in my opinion.

BTW... it would be my choice based on the fact that I beat the hell out of it on a weekly basis and it still shaves. Nothing I can do makes it dull. It is truly amazing.

I pick a stainless Mora Clipper. Its the best wood carver Id ever had. I actually like the cheap plastic sheath.

I drew up a design I call the BushBastard, it has an NWA Sierra style handle with a rough forged Fiddleback Scandi bushcrafter style 4 inch blade. I think that would make for the ideal belt knife.

The knife model name is "Natural Outlaw". The term "nuclear meltdown" on any Busse knife indicates that all the edges around the handle and spine have been rounded over/softened. The "Special Forces" part of the name indicates the specific version of Natural Outlaw (as there have been several over the years). The SF series all have the same handle design. The copious amount of scotch is beside the point, but greatly appreciated.

Gotta admit, this is all I use lately. Its usually the ABC though, and the Blur.
But I think I would choose my ABC. I like it, does what I need, If I was stuck in a woods scenario then it would go to the mora.
I haven't been camping in a long time.
