1 Of 300. . . . . ??????? . . . . . . Huh????. . . . . What's Happening?????

CAlife, In California there is the "dirk and dagger" blanket law that says it's a felony to conceal anything that could readily be used as a stabbing implement. As long as part of the holster can be seen in carry, it's fine. I carry a MBC when I go into town sometimes, I haven't had any problems and I see people carrying larger fixed blades on belts occasionally.

What county are you in?

I'm pretty sure there's a length restriction on open carry fixed blades in the state, and la county and i go to a public school that does not allow fixed blades, folders only

I've researched the issue for years. I'm almost 100% positive i can't. If i could, i would

Whatever it maybe, I will take number 69!!!

You forgot to say "In tequila"

Speaking of distilled, fermented agave juice, where are you hiding those tequila MOAB pics????? BTW I hate you more for getting that than a 16 year old girls hates her better looking best friend :grumpy:

There is no California state law with a length restriction on open carry of fixed blade knives. IIRC, LA city does not permit open carry of any knife, so they are limited to concealed folding knives. Not sure what additional restrictions LA county may have.

My knowledge will have to go with the above statement. City laws are different than the what the state laws "imply". San Jose allows a 3 inch folder but Oakland restricts it to 2 1/2 inches. My understanding for my city San Jose, is that there is no restriction on fixed blade length but the entire package must be visible...From handle butt to sheath tip. Of course once I hit the National Forest all bets are off and I'm got a 44 mag and a full size Busse strapped to my waist with or with out a jacket covering it!!

A Busse folder would be great but only in Elmax, D2 or something other than INFI. Save the precious INFI for bigger blades.

Been hunting for a hiking knife, so I hope it's a SAR5 or otherwise something 7" and on the thinner side.

So the esteemed Mr Busse writes a single vague statement and sets off days of suspense and speculation, even from some of the people who have been members the longest. Clever clever man :) now I want one. My hat is off to you Sir :)

He went to shows and demonstrated the strength if infi with a variety of cutting and bendinding demos.
