Has anyone come across a 1 of a Kind Becker ?
Guyon?
Bladite?
Any of you other Beckerheads ?

As most I enjoy my Steel ok maybe a little more than most, been acquiring some of the older Blackjack Becker's and Came across this 1, Worked out the deal and thought ok finally a near mint Blackjack Magnum Camp Knife with Box, sent money all done so like most went back afterwards to look at the photo's and did not notice at first then this photo caught my eye

So what makes it a 1 of a Kind
The Fact that it says so, and or the the Made in USA Effingham Il is on the Ricasso instead of running along the Top Edge of blade like most other Camp's
Ok Maybe Both
Oh well (Scratching Head) more photo's when it gets here

Congratulations - So you got it? I saw it, tried to do some research, and then it was gone when I went to see it again. I thought I hallucinated the whole thing. Good to know it went to a good home. That one is a beauty for sure. Congrats again.

Nice Fisky knife.
Seen some prototype stuff, but there was more than one.
Bladite has an 8. I licked the spine and made it rust.

Blackjack did a lot of 1-off's and short run protos, then marked and sold them like they were a premium item.
of course, at this point, they sort of are.
I used to have a 1 of a kind boot knife -- because it had black sandblasted scales and a sandblast finish on the steel.
every knife in the bin was slightly different - handle color/material, sandblasted or not, polished blade w/blasted scales (or the other way around), etc....
next to it was a bin of sheaths to pick from.

there are apparently a few "older knives" (blackjacks) that someone with some free time and some screening equipment put words like "prototype" and "first run" and stuff on them.

Ethan has related on several occasions that he never saw nothing like that while he was making them; and he probably didn't see all the ones that were made in his name and "put away" or "misplaced" or ...

kinda funny how a number of things are coming to light these days. saw some interesting items pop up. i'd call a few unique. different coatings or treatments. advanced seconds :D almost all certainly genuine Beckers. not so sure about any "markings"

more pix of yours would be good.

Seen this on Facebook. I would've jumped on it, but I'd just purchased something else about 30 min prior. Congratulations!

Your welcome, I'm the one who told the guy to hit up the Becker page with it, after arguing with me that it wasn't a Becker for a few minutes lol.

I have a 1 of 6 of a BK-2 that some Knife Shop had made there in there in House and the person got to the 6th Knife and just walked out the door and quit before I called so I got the Knife from them but it has been in one of my Safes since I got it and it is keeping the other BK's happy & NIB's .! LOL
One of these days I will take them out out of said Safes & put them all up for sale with there Custom Sheaths & NIB looks & smell.!****

I don't think I would call some knife a random shop made in house a bk2... It may be a replica or inspired by a bk2, but deff not a bk2.
