I got it...
It's one of a kind because its the only one with the stamp "one of a kind"
No others were stamped "one of a kind".... So its legit...yup

Again Thanks Mike Stewart's Response

Mike Stewart John - I think you answered your own question - We made them when BJK Owned Becker knife and tool - there are only 300 of them so i would say it is pretty rare. A few Months after I left BJK it went out of business. Becker Knife and Tool reverted to Ethan and Ken Warner revived BJK. I still made the BJK knives for Ken - and then he sold it to the present owners - Blue Ridge Knives - I still make all of the BJK American made knives.

Ethan took his knives to Camilius until they went out of Business and then later took the Brand to Ka-Bar who presently still makes the line for him. Jerry Fisk had no ownership in either company. It appeared to me that Ethan changed the knife a bit and kept it in the line until recently.

Thank you 1 and All

A Very Rare Knife

KEEP EM SHARP

Mike Stewart John - It looks to be the factory Prototype but keep in mind that you are talking about a knife that was built over 20 years ago. I'm pretty good but remembering one single knife is not that easy. As i said - You have a very rare knife.

But...is it one of a kind, for real?
It just very rare...or both?
Your answer is raising more questions lol!

Doesn't matter really...that's one sweet hunk of steel, and you should take it out and beat the snot out of it!

On Facebook, a group called knife Gods that was started by Mike Stewart...he posted the knife in question there and Mike replied too him.

I asked why it said one of a kind on the blade, and he replied

"We marked them that way occasionally back then."

At a previous point he mentioned possibly being a prototype, so I'm not sure if he was referring to those, or they just occasionally threw one of a kind on a blade.lol
