1000th Post Give Away...Contest is over.

I THINK I'm a Beckerhead...I have five of them including a Effingham Brute and Reinhardt Kukri...That's a handsome blade you have there!

Colonel, it's arguably a mutually beneficial relationship. Arguably only because I believe it's more a pleasure for me to know you than the other way around. That's a fine looking blade for sure. Thanks for the chance, I'm in!

Col., your knives are looking better and better. The damascus version looks killer! Congratulations on your 1000th post. I'm in!
Are you doing HT yourself? I've got some 1095 I'm hoping to be able to do myself (after I actually grind it into something knife-like) at our local maker space (which I can walk to easily).
Thanks for this great GAW - it's very generous to give away something you've worked so hard on.

Congrats on reaching 1000 posts. That's a great looking blade; can't wait to see the finished product. Thank you very much for the generous give away!

Congrats Colonel! Not an entry, but looks like you're well on your way. Nice looking damascus too. Who makes it? Cheers.

Congrats on 1000 posts, and for your part in keeping the crew around here honest. :-)

Quite a generous giveaway, thanks for sharing your handiwork. I'd be honored to add that blade to my collection, so I'm in. :-)

What a nice gesture and great giveaway....nice blade as well, congrats on the 1000...in thanx for the opportunity

I'm not in, but I just wanted to say that I think this is an awesome giveaway. I know you relaxed the rules, but I am not a Beckerhead, and I probably won't be. I don't think that I'm the right person to get this knife, but I love giveaways of knives made by the gifter. I just had to comment, and give props for a great giveaway.

That's one generous giveaway Colonel, not an entry though due to international shipping.....
You going to Blade?

Thanks - I do HT with a Majestic propane forge, quench in warm Canola oil, and then bake in a toaster oven. Works well with 1084 and Damascus.

Not a Beckerhead -but huge fan of BK&T gear. But real winner is Ethan - always adding words of wisdom, hints and tips, standing by his products and always willing to be in YouTube videos. You don't get that in many companies these days!!! And this forum is great, always a good read when I have some spare time or want advice! Other sections are not as friendly or helpful as this Becker section so that really tells me about the users of these excellent knives!

looking good Colonel!
not an entry, but I appreciate the spirit of generosity and getting to watch your skillset improve with each knife made.

as to handle material - I'd go with a piece of well seasoned osage orange out of your woodpile to REALLY personalize the piece.
If you need a hand with the sheath for it, let me know and I can make it a set of leather pants, since psy is off being too busy with school and children and stuff to hang out here any more. :D

I'm in. Like the blade shape. Can't wait to see it finished! The damascus one is very nice also. Thanks for the chance.

Thanks for the opportunity, I am not technically a BH but love and EDC my 14. I'm In, thanks
