Congrats on the 1K postage Col. I haven't been around here long enough to feel right about entering a GAW for such a wonderful piece of functioning art, I just wanted to say this is incredibly generous of you and to also wish all the contenders luck. Good onya Colonel. So yeah, not an entry..
 
Thank you for this generous giveaway, Colonel! I am not a Beckerhead, but a fan of Becker knives. I'm particularly fond of the 5 and the 15 and will make at least one of those part of my outdoor tool kit sometime soon. In the meantime, please consider me for this knife. I can assure you it will see lots of adventure on foot and on horseback here in the Rocky Mountain West.

as to handle material - I'd go with a piece of well seasoned osage orange out of your woodpile to REALLY personalize the piece.
If you need a hand with the sheath for it, let me know and I can make it a set of leather pants, since psy is off being too busy with school and children and stuff to hang out here any more. :D

Well I'm not a Beckerhead (yet) but I love me some Beckers and knives in general. Cause you have relaxed the rules please count me in and thanks for such a gracious offer.
 
I'm not a beckerhead either. Only because I've never owned one, but I'm friends with people that are, so that says to me that they are great blades!
