When I was 14 my dad took my hiking up to the cottonwood lakes on the backside of Mt. Whitney. Sort of a vacation, but I had a great time.

Dawson city Alaska was my favorite place I've ever been to they still had the old western style wooden sidewalks and a drink I had to try caked the sourtoe something or other. And btw thanks for the chance to win
 
Tahiti & San Diego for me.

Tahiti was the best vacation I ever had.
San Diego is always great for short getaways.

Alaska is next one I'm thinking. Everyone I talked to rav about Alaska. My 5 y/o Siberian Husky is Alaskan after all. I should pay a visit to her home state.
 
My favorite vacation destination is San Diego California. Mission beach, old town, easy day trip to tijuana... Sea world. And great weather! Thanks for the chance!

I had a lot of fun visiting Niagra falls and heading to Montreal to sight see.
 
Yellowstone a few years ago was amazing! Hope no one minds if I post more than one. Congrats on the 1000!




 
Ireland. I spent 10 days on the west coat on the Dingle Peninsula. I'd post some pics, but we moved recently and the pictures are still boxed up... somewhere... with no digital copy.

My ideal vacation spot is anywhere away from noise and light pollution. Two places I've really enjoyed are Luna lake in the white mountains of New Mexico, and a small cabin near Bella's falls Vermont.

Id like to win the Kershaw Needs Work. My favorite vacation destination was Montana. I went fly fishing with my cousins and it was the one event that turned me onto fly fishing. I now tie my own flies and go fly fishing regularly, but not in as beautiful a destination as the glacier lakes of Montana!
 
Montana is my favorite place in the U.S. but my favorite vacation was probably Namibia 2002 hunting safari.
