We switched 110/220v in 1964. Most current devices (not this turntable) were exchanged or modified FOR FREE! Those were the days!

A nice tune to start a new day!

Jolipapa Jolipapa Devices exchanged free? Yes, bonanza days indeed when people had optimism  Whole lot of Telly sets here aren't HD so soon they'll be useless and off to the landfill, criminal waste, then there's phones....:poop:
Remember there were not as many electrical gears as today (we got a new iron, a new toaster, the washing machine was already twin voltages and the massive horribly green Kelvinator fridge got a modified motor - those having a lamp radio received either a transfo or a new transitorized set. In fact I realize most things changed were made in France, they modded the others). In the glorious 30s France -like most big European countries- was nearly self sufficient. UE killed our industry (and a few others as well, GB in first) as surely as low priced Japanese items (way before Chinese) and loss of colonial markets.
Bonanza days? Oh yes, I was 13... :D

Yes but I don't think it's disqualified as others have posted pictures of text etc more than once ;)
As they say in Darts, GAME ON! 81 leads. Mind you, it's only a forecast and we all know what they're like :):D

Around The World in 80 Days.....

I think we do, in fact, need one more post for 80. @SnailOffTheTrail’s paper cups were our second post for 79 (80 minus 1), and the matchsticks are the only 80 post we have. Can someone fill in one more before we move on to 82? Please and thank you! ;) :D
