11/11 update ..... it starts with ME and ends with I

Nice bike!. . . .They did a great job of hiding the motor!

.

Thanks. The motor is detachable ... not to mention a very powerful 2 stroke with loads of torque!! :D :D

The motor is removed after every ride though ... for proper cleaning, maintenance, and refueling.

Dennis,

An all carbon bike is very nice. I find it more responsive than a bike with titanium like my Ottrott. Moots does make a nice bike but would probably get an IF first.

It has been weighed on a digital scale at the shop ... you'll just have to wait to get an answer from me though ... :D take a guess for the fun of it ;)

The wheels are Mavic Cosmic Carbone Ultimate tubulars. The factory stickers were removed immediately. I thought I'd try them instead of the more expensive option of the Lightweight Standards. The Mavic MP3 program is what convinced me ... full replacement of wheelset with any damage including any crash or other incident ... it adds 8% to the price but worth it. As for price of wheelset itself, the bike was a complete kit including the wheelset ... not sure of the actual price but I know they went up $800 this year.

Ron

I am going to say that the bike weighs in at 14.1 lbs w/o pedals, seat pack.

IF is great and they are my second pick. Moots is known in the industry for having the best TI welders, better than IF by reputation anyway. I assume that has not changed.
