I like the front bolster on the 112, but every time I open it, the blade seems strikingly short.
For general purpose EDC, I prefer the size of the 110 for sure.
But there are times where I like a shorter stout blade. When working in my shop and dealing with cutting stiff abusive things like metal cans or stiff plastics, the shorter blades of the 112 and 500 give me more control. This was pointed out to me by a guy on the Traditional forum (sometimes posted here) who worked as an industrial electrician and abusively used a 112 for scraping insulation off of industrial grade wiring.
That long thin clip point on the 110 is nice when deboning a chicken or perhaps precisely cutting out the inner flesh of a green pepper. But it's pretty frail when you want to drill cut through some heavy plastic or plunge cut a piece of flashing.
