112 LT

I'm looking forward to the auto! I've held 4 or 5 in hand at the Blade show over the years and a couple were reasonably priced too but I passed waiting for a factory built one. I dreamed about a high end 112 in pearl ,nickel silver and file work with a raindrop Damascus or S30V mirror polished blade..
To me THAT would be the ultimate 112 !! Now that Buck has finally made it I'll have to seriously save up enough to make my dream a reality..Thanks Buck!

Nothing official yet..I know in my heart of hearts because of the built up demand for the 112 auto (110 much more common) that the first run will go extremely fast. I found a Buck distributor here in Florida that will get me one..likely at full retail or higher. The 112LT on the other hand can be bought directly from Buck. Sk's first 112LT in any color ,steel,or blade shape will be Flying out the door as well since it's been since 2013 we could buy the Ecolite. They seldom show up on the Bay usually over 50.00 when they do. I know I'm a 112 fan but there is many 1,000's just like me that really like the size..

Alas, I fear that the initial offering of the 112 auto will be brass rather than nickel silver.

yep I will bet that it will be brass too and close to 200 dollars...add mother of pearl Damascus blade be close to 500 dollars..

It's such a important 112 to me that I don't mind if it's nickel silver or brass..I have yet to see any custom 110 auto or even a file worked example. I remember Mr Hubbard discussing the extra pin saying it had a purpose so I'm guessing it's not easy to take one apart and rehandle or especially a blade replacement. But picture a drop point high radius grind mirror polished S30V blade in brass with stag and a buffalo horn button..Sooner or latter well will see auto customs in fancy materials.

Anybody know if the the 112LT will come out in just black like the 110LT did or in another color?
I'm sure hoping for an Olive Drab like some of the 1st version bucklites were!

I hope for black, but really miss the olive drab I gave away in the 80’s, so I’ll take one of each.

Is there a place to pre-order the 112LT?

I don't believe so. There hasn't even been a picture of it as far as I know. We just know from buck that it's in the works and should be out this summer along with the 112 auto.

Personally I'm really looking forward to both. I hope the LT turns out to be similar to the now out of production 482 Bucklite. Aside from the flimsy clip I really like that knife. I also hope C&C or SK follow up with a drop point and some special runs. I'm looking forward to the auto as well but if it follows the pricing of the 110 it will be a while before I can save up the funds for one but that's ok. Given the success of the 110 auto, I bet these autos will be available for quite some time.

I also hope that we see a special run of these, a drop point in 154 would be great... right skblades skblades ?? :D
If they let me get my hands on it, it's a possibility! However, 112s don't really sell from what I've seen. I had my 112s displayed for the BCCI, and not one person picked it up to look at it. Also, until we severely dropped the cost of the Lil Jack (creating a break even for us) they didn't move a wink.

Weird. Perfect pocket size. Not sure why there’d be no interest. I’m seriously getting two, if someone imports to Canada.

I hope skblades does the 112lt in red with CPM-154 steel to match the 110lt. Got to do that to make it a set. Then any other color and blade material if they want in addition to the red CPM-154. But those guys at skblades are the best. I’ve purchased several knives from them including the Dark Hornet. Just great work and great service. Can’t go wrong with any of their knives.
