Finally got a 117. Had pretty much given up on it until they released some more a couple weeks ago. Got mine in the mail yesterday.

One thing I noticed was the sheath has a made in USA stamp on it - which is different than any of my other sheaths. pretty cool. Also, I had read reviews on amazon that some (maybe earlier?) 117s were shipped with a larger sheath (maybe a 105 sheath?) but my sheath is clearly shorter than the 105 sheath and appears to be appropriately sized.

You did a great job on the video! Shows just how useful the 117 is and same overall length as a 110 but a bit more blade. Very handy size knife and I like the one I have.

Thanks J justsaymo great video! I’m promoting you to Official Chief Executive Videographer of our club. As an officer of the 117 club your dues to the 117 club will be waived. Lol.
Though I'm unworthy, it is a great honor just to be associated with the gentlemen in this group. Perusing this thread made it impossible for me not to buy the next 117 I came across and probably put me on the hook for at least a few more.

The variations y'all have posted here are amazing and would make an excellent video montage. With permission I'd be happy to do that.

side note;
The brass and wood 117 is also back in stock @ C&C for those interested.
You guys are stellar enablers... I've GOT TO HAVE one of those! Ordered and now doing my best to be patient while I await its arrival.

I really like the feel of the Cocobolo (119 & 120 )in the hand. Haven't yet used them in the field. The brass guard and pommel will be new to me and I suspect heavier. I do like the look.

yep heavier and changes the balance, but I kinda prefer the brass on the 100 series knives.
