117 CLUB Permanent thread keep adding

I love a brown handle ie walnut so i could live with a brown phenolic or dyawood handle if it was a possibility and add a brown leather sheath. I just love natural leather amd wood handles. I do understand if the stacked leather didn’t sell it probably won’t sell now either.

I missed out on the stacked leather handles. Sure would like to get my hands on one. Just can't justify the price they are going for when I have two 117's already. Hope to pick up a pro once they show up on the Buck website.
 
I have the leather stacked handle and the pro versions. I'm going to get the regular version when it comes on Buck's website. Also, since it is a reintroduction, maybe they'll either have a special release or a BOTM featuring the 117 this year.
 
Yea it’s so strange how knives that seem popular get discontinued? I guess we don’t see the complete picture I suppose?

Whats popular with knife nuts like us does not always translate to the general public that makes up the REAL market.

Well the 117 could pop back up. My saga trying to find the ever elusive 118 finally ended when Buck had a special run in the green micarta pro version. So any scenario is possible. Honestly that keeps some extra excitement in this wonderful hobby.
