New 117’s just dropped this morning along with some others!!

Personally the 117 Brahma with stacked leather should have been its own knife JMHO!
In that context how bout a stacked leather 119? At least an option in the custom shop?

Originally there was a 117 and 119 Brahma.
Brahma meant Stacked leather flat steel pommel and guard. All metal blacked out.

Then at some point all 117’s picked up the Brahma name.

Gone is the 117 small special moniker. Oh well all 117’s are special no matter what they are called.

Glad more are being made. Looking forward to some action photos and new members.

The 117 and 117 pro are showing in stock on Buck's website. Not sure if that's where DN saw them.

I was always sorta bummed that I missed out on the 117 s35v green micarta handle BOTM.
Actually I think I was busy trying to be frugal then.

When I saw that it was coming back as a regular production knife I decided I was gonna get one as soon as they hit Buck's website.



I noticed they are selling well.

I have a feeling you’re right. I like the 102 but I have a feeling a little larger handle and just a smidge more blade is going to hit the sweet spot for an outdoor knife.

That is exactly how I felt about it when I got my first one...I think that Buck should do a Boy Scouts exclusive of the 117.
