That knife looks great J,but
I think you should leave the pictures in the camera
a little longer,they arent fully developed yet.

Blakem - were you hitting it with a hammer or something? It could not have been with a piece of wood. I mean you can't break a knife with a piece of wood can you? I never have been able to.
 
the hollow was trapped.. it wasnt the wood that broke it.. it was the impact..with the hollow bevel trapped,, nowhere to flex

thanks B.. i am not worried about the blades.. that was the most frail knife i have ever made,, just not a log splitter,,
