1311 anyone?

Mine got in today. Awesome! Even better than I had hoped it would be. I have a chord of wood in the middle of the driveway waiting to be split but hopefully I have time to beat on it a little tomorrow.

I was just charged, this will be one of the hardest waits yet, WAY longer than expected but i'm sure its gonna be worth it. Gonna pair it up with My RMD. Match made in heaven.

Pretty much anyone who wants an awesome lightweight chopper and missed this offering is going to be kicking themselves.
These are single full strength swing bites from a 19oz blade.  :D

The thing that hits me as being a good indicator of how much I like this knife is that I want to carry it on me at all times. That's rare for a chopper, because I tend to think of them as being too bulky for what I can do with them, and I've had a wide range of knives, b7, b9, b10le, b11, hogfsh, hh, fbmle, ffbm, nmfbm, nmsfno, MOAB, ak47, battle rat, dog father, and several others. The 1311 feels so light weight compared to the others yet it feels capable as a chopper AND a machete. That's a rare combination because it's very hard to maintain a sense of fastness while having a blade heavy balance without becoming so heavy that its fatigue rate removes it from the machete category.

I wouldn't carry this on me at all times because it's silly for in city. The BJ Proto is plenty knife for any task I'm likely to face... but if I lived in the country I might rig up a across the back belt or a baldric rig for it. It's just that good.

So if i placed an order tonight and paid through Paypal, am i not getting one? The whole Busse ordering thing is new to me.

Mate, it was Scrap Yard Forum Member Exclusive offering. If you have been a forum member before 27 August you could buy them.
If you have not been a member then you rely on second hand market.

I was a forum member before Aug. 27, thankfully, and put my member screen name in the note box when I ordered. Hopefully everything turned out alright -- I got my fingers crossed!

If you received an order confirmation email after placing your order, you should be all set.

I would imagine Renee would have sent you an email if there was a problem with your order.

Might not be a bad idea to check anyways, though......

I got an order confirmation after ordering 2 of these but still no shipping notice =/
