  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

18" Keffeler Sword (K18), AKA The KOD Piece

Is the engraving more difficult because of the steel type and hardness? Probably worse then on a gun frame?

IIRC, this is before it gets sent for the heat treat.

Yup, it's in the same state as when Nathan machines it so it actually cuts rather nicely...the biggest problem with this one is working around the size.

“Just” on a piece like this will mean how many more hours Chip? You have a unique set with all the models you have added your signature engraving too, do you ever see yourself selling any of those?
Ooof...probably another 7-8 hours, hopefully knock it out next shift if the blinky lights cooperate;)

Probably the only one that MIGHT possibly move on is the satin/engraved UF with the Osage scales...I made it TOO pretty, so it just sits in the display case
