I've been browsing at several knives and want to order a few , but before I do I wanted to hear some feedback. Service? Speedy delivery?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
While I have nothing particularly bad to say about 1sks.com - I will say that there are other companies out there that have more experience and better service than 1sks.com!
In question #1, yes we are a brink and mortar company. Meaning we do have a physical location and you can drop by and see us.There are two things that I look for in an online company: (1) Are they a sticks and bricks company with a history? and (2) Do they have good customer service?
IMHO, the best company out there right now(and sorry BladeForums, I know you're attached to 1sks.com) is eKnifeWorks.com - it's Smoky Mountain Knife Work's new web venture. SMKW has been in the business about 20 years and always has a great selection - I've been ordering from their catalog for years, so I know they "really" exist.
Second (and unlike 1sks.com), eKnifeWorks.com offers a 90-day Satisfaction Gaurantee - no questions asked. 1sks.com doesn't come close - I think their like 7 to 10 days for a full refund, and after that you have to take store credit. Not good enough. Also, I don't have to worry about hanging onto a receipt or the original packaging with eKnifeWorks.com - as long as I get it back to them in 90 days - I get a refund.
