20$ Buck 110's

ArchieCS - I may be asking a dumb question here but is there anything wrong with someone from the US mailing a knife to you? If it's legal, I bet there are folks on the board that would do it. I bet you could paypal the money, etc.
Shouldn't that be ok as long as we're dealing with Buck 110s and not Stinger missiles?

Whoops, sorry haven't been checking this thread in a few days, obviously, missed your question alittleedgy, apologies! Answer: there isn't anything wrong with it! I've been looking into that recently in fact - especially since the dollar's worth about exactly half a UK pound and dropping every day, which suits any UK importers just fine thank you v much! Cheers for the thought tho.

When I have shipped stuff overseas (or to Canada) the USPS asks if there are any weapons, knives, etc in the package. I suppose you could just say it's a gift, but you would be in trouble if found out. It's probably more to do with laws in other countries, since knife laws in the US are pretty lax.

I've had a few knives shipped from the US to the UK as they're so much cheaper over there, and never had any problems. If anyone would mind getting a couple of 110s for me and shipping them I'd be happy to paypal up front and send some extra for a few beers.

You should pity us Brits. This country sucks.

I think the Postal Service is worried ( when they ask if your package contains a knife ) that it might be a fixed blade that is improperly wrapped. We ( USPS ) had a mailer mail out small parcels, each containing a free steak knife that was punching through the packaging. A folded lockback in a box inside another box should be ok.

About a week ago, I saw the 110 display card under the counter at Wal Mart was marked $26-something. I don't know if this a new price, but I seem to remember them costing more.
