2001 Blade Show - Get Pumped Up!!

Thanks to Hillbillenigma and Gus for the table assignments!

Does anyone know for sure that a VIP pass will get you in at 12:00? My friend has to drive down that day, and would have to leave at 3 or 4 in the morning to get there at noon. We want to get in as soon as we can, but it would suck for him to get up 2 hours earlier than early, just to find out we have to sit around for 2 more hours.

Thanks,
Paul

I am really excited about the Blade Show. I have been working pretty hard and it is going to be nice to get out of the shop! I will be at table 5-J with some pretty cool knives, so come by and say hi.
Regarding the early admission for VIP pass holder, I am not sure at what time the doors will be open for you. I'll try to find out and post the info.
BTW, I still have a few VIP Passes. Contact me if you need one.
See you there!!!

Allen it will be great to see you and Val.
Not to mention your knives

.

Paul, the VIP passes will get you in at noon on Friday. Saturday and Sunday everyone gets in at the same time regardless of the type of pass.

Paul,
Take it to the bank. Holders of VIP passes only will be allowed in at noon on Fri, and the show will open to the general public at 2:00 PM

The family and I will down Thursday night. While I haven't been to every Blade show I was fortunate enough to attend the first ones in Knoxville before they moved to Atlanta. I still wish that they were still here, but the difference in airfare will deplete your knife budget badly!

Take care,

Mike

Thanks guys! Maurice, I didn't doubt you bro, but I just wanted to know for SURE. Mary Lutz from Krause kindly emailed me earlier to tell me. You never know who is reading these threads!

Thanks Mary.

I'm going to Florida before the show, and I could care less about the Florida part! I'll just be sitting on the beach thinking about the Blade Show. I'm going to have to keep myself busy, or the family will hog tie me and throw me in a closet for talking about it constantly.

The really sad thing about me not knowing when we got in with the VIP passes, is that this is the third year that we've gotten them.

Man that's embarrassing. Once I get to the show there is so much overload that I have trouble remembering all the things I want to remember about it. Great knives as far as the eye can see, nice people that are also knife knuts...it's almost too much. Almost.

Man, just 9 days until I'll be leaving for "The Greatest Show on Earth"
biggrin.gif
I can't wait. I am losing sleep at night just thinking about it. I hope to meet alot of forumites and match their names with faces. I have met quite a few of you but there are alot that I haven't met. I'll be counting the days!

I will be at the NC Knife Knuts Booth #18-B. Come by and buy some knives so we can buy some more. I'll have a few Microtechs and a few customs from my collection for sale/trade.

No kidding. As the show gets closer, the more fidgety I get and the harder I become to deal with

After I get to the hotel Thursday night, I doubt I'll sleep a wink...I'll be ready to rock and roll!

Know what you mean Dexter. Instead of buying the Depends by the box (which I only have to do during May and the first couple of weeks in June), I went ahead and picked up a pallet full at COSTCO the other day.

If anybody needs 'em I will be sellin' 'em real cheap on Monday June 11th.

See you folks there!

I got my Blade Magazine in the mail today and it has the chart with all the makers that will be there and what booth they are in. I am highlighting the booths I want to visit first. It is going to be a blast!

Mike - yep, better plan your attack now. Good thing is I'm picking up knives I've ordered months ago there, so I don't have to stampede to Kit or DDR's tables

Oh man I can't wait. Is it next week yet??
