2001 Blade Show - Get Pumped Up!!

Yeah, but then we would have to start calling you "ole catalytic butt".

Be that as it may, I still hope to be down there on Saturday. Had planned on picking up my knife from DDR at the show but since he got it ready I just couldn't wait.

Oh well, I am sure I will find another knife or two that catches my eye!

BTW, is the Atlanta show anything like the Knoxville show was? I made the last 5 shows in Knoxville but never made it to Atlanta even though driving distance is about the same.

David, if this is the case I am feeling sorry for Martha already

Hmm...Just picked up a copy of Blade Magazine at the bookstore and the street version didn't have the booth/table chart. Oh well, thanks to Gus and Hillbillenigma I've got a printout. See 'ya there.

Clyde, you are more than welcome.
Don't worry about MO. He has the same list.
He just wants to make sure he is not being sent to the bad part of Atlanta by two crafty Tennessee Hillbillies

.

I can picture him walking up to the door of a drug house in a rough area of Atlanta asking if they have any Kit Carson knives left.

Mhael, there is a fairly big show somewhere in California but I can't remember the dates. I think it is put on by Nordic Knives. I saw the list of the makers there and it was quite impressive (Koji, Lum, Emerson, etc.....)

Man, I am counting the days for Atlanta

mheal,
The Solvang Show is Sponsored by Nordic Knives. It is the last weekend in April and takes place in Solvang, Ca. It is about 1.5 hours north of L.A. It is a small but awesome show. Only 60 tables, but the absolute cream of the crop in custom makers.
Also, the Blade Show West is in September, I believe. It is in the L.A. area. I haven't been , but hear it is a good show. Pick up any recent Blade magazine for details. You gotta go to an all-knife show if you can! Words cannot describe the wonder and the atmosphere of it all!
Hope this helps,
David

Last year after the first half day (friday) of the show my thumb was so sore from opening one hand knives that I could hardly stand it. Thinking about it now though, I can't wait for my thumb to be sore again

96 hours and counting for Atlanta!
