LOL You gotta build up a callus on your thumb, that way flicking knivs all day won't bother you

mheal,
The Solvang Show is Sponsored by Nordic Knives. It is the last weekend in April and takes place in Solvang, Ca. It is about 1.5 hours north of L.A. It is a small but awesome show. Only 60 tables, but the absolute cream of the crop in custom makers.
Also, the Blade Show West is in September, I believe. It is in the L.A. area. I haven't been , but hear it is a good show. Pick up any recent Blade magazine for details. You gotta go to an all-knife show if you can! Words cannot describe the wonder and the atmosphere of it all!
Hope this helps,
David

Well I really would like to go, maybe i should hook up with some maker that works in Ca so that way i'll just trail him, carry his knives, run food, get drinks, you know the hard work
smile.gif
well i'll prob just start putting away money now and see what happens for next year. But i will definitely have to check out Blade Show West. Make sure everyone posts pictures!!!!

Yup! I'm leaving tomorrow too. Been working like an f-ing dog recently, so I'll probably sleep good tonight. It's TOMORROW night that I probably will be noticing the texture of the ceiling of my hotel room

There are four of us leaving Friday morning (early) and heading for Atlanta. I think that we are all wearing our SMKW apparel so if you spot us stop us. I can not wait; it getting very hard to make improvments on the website. Anticipation can be deadly.

Everybody have a great trip

Now I know it is close. Just went to the bank to empty out the knife account

. (A ritual before the Blade Show each year).

The long task of refilling it for next year starts next week.
