2009's What Did You Cut Today w/ Your Buck?

Wife and I went fishing today in Galveston Bay. I cautioned her on getting backlash in the one rod and reel we were sharing. She fished for an hour and then handed it to me. I made two casts and created the "bird nest" from hell! :foot:

When we got home I cut it out with my 301.

I cracked up Matt. I got one of those once in that same reel. I was driving a school bus part time and took it to the drivers lounge with me to work on during wait time. worked on it for a while and got a driving assignment and just left it laying there on the table.
when I got back, birds nest was all gone. Those were some bored drivers. :D

did ya catch any fish?

Used my BUCK Odyssey to cut open the package with a new Cabela’s Alaskan Guide model BUCK 110 the dog got free with my Cabela’s points. Happy Dog.

We caught no fish, but had a great day on the water anyway.

"A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work"

I saw that on a bumper sticker about 30 years ago...one of life's little truths.

"A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work"

A-MEN to that! "any day fishing is better then a day at work" and I think we all have had reels that looked like that....:)

I know I have, at night and by the time I finally got it untangled the boat had drifted to the other side of the lake.I cubed up some stew meat w/ my 110.DM

Brother sold one of his businesses and I was helping locate the marker rods.
Only thing I had to dig with was my 174 Cutback. But found the marker rod.

Now it needs a good sharpening.

Grilled some really nice pork chops last night and used my new Vantage Pro instead of a steak knife. As they say up hear in New England "it worked supaaa"

I used the 112 thats in the sheath that Jack made for me to cut up my
Spring Turkeys.Bad pic due to using cell phone.

Nice! I was a city boy until about six months ago, but I've really wanted to go turkey hunting ever since I moved out to the mountains. Looks like a lot of fun!

I used my 110 today to open a package (silver coins purchased on the 'bay), slice English muffins in the kitchen and cut some old bootlace I used to make a poorly knotted "it'll do for now" lanyard I jury-rigged for my MiniBuck.

Didn't cut anything today. I did adjust the elevation on my patrol rifle with the Hartsook. Great little tool.

Opened some boxes, whittled some sticks, and illustrated that one can shave with a knife. This Vantage is holding an edge rather well I think.

Nice job on those turkeys Hawkeye! Used my CS KOA 110 to slice up some summer sausage.

Cut a few slices of lemon for a glass of water with my 112, the freshly sharpened blade slid through the lemon like it wasn't even there

Opened a package with my 301, then cut some paracord and old rags with my 110. I put a nice little nick in my left thumb while sharpening the 110...does that count, too? :D

Early this morning I cut up a leg of lamb, with the G-10 BG-42 110, that went into a Greek marinade. The lamb will be grilled over a bed of charcoal, apple, and pear wood tonight.

I need to find some good beer to pair. I already have the wine.
