Nice Whitetail 'Ol Bud & good looking bow rig you got there ! I love Archery !

Success on first day of firearm season this year. First "real" buck I've shot. Two years ago I shot a buck with one antler (two points) thinking it was a doe. Last year I shot only a doe, first deer I saw, and didn't see anything else after that. This was my lucky year, I guess.

One shot, 15-20 yds (I neglected to pace it off) with my Marlin .30-30, 170 grain remmington cor-lokt. Tough 2.5 yr old, he ran maybe 60 yds with a hole through his heart and two liquified lungs.

After getting this guy butchered, I will try to fill out my bonus tag with a nice doe.

Awsome buck RB !

past weekend out with my better half..
Sharp tail and Ruff grouse and some snowshoes

Going into a meat pie.

Forgot about this one. Shot this hog in a deep canyon (read "long a$$ drag out) in Sonoma. 150 yard shot to the neck with my .300 win mag. Tasted awesome.

Went up and visited my folks in NE Georgia this past weekend. My Dad and I got to hunt some and on Tuesday morning I was able to get a shot on this little Franklin County buck.
Made a 235 yard shot with a Ruger M 77 30.06 topped with a Redfield Revolution 3-9X50mm scope. Ammo was a 150gr Corelokt.
Will be some fine table fare and I'm as happy with him as any big buck I've ever killed as it was my furtherest shot and the fact I was hunting with my Dad.

Knife is a Eddie White Shadowknives Model IX

I got a button buck and a doe this morning hunting a limited draw hunt the opening day of shotgun today. We are required to take a doe before we take a buck.....pics will be up soon.

Decided today after not seeing much last couple of times out if I see a doe she is mine :) At 10:00am this fella walked out. 50 yards and bullet went in just at the shoulder/neck crease and exited low ribcage behind elbow on other side. Fell in his footsteps.

Federal 150 grains did the trick.

'NUFF SAID'

Like that photo....One of the does I shot had a ton of fat stored on her back, I have never seen that before, alot.

I managed a 7pt opening day, 90 yards with my 30-30

The next day I shot two does, but I forgot to charge my phone, so no pics.

One more week for MG, and then three days after Xmas........only one Buck tag left

My Son's (13) first buck. taken at 1645 today. He stalked by himself to with in 75-100 yards and took a kneeling shot, with a savage muzzle stuffer! :D I am a proud papa!
