Got 'em guys. If you do not see your name on this current list as of right now, and you have paid for a knife, please contact me. Otherwise, I believe I have them all rounded up. Please remember to write your phone # in on the paypal message to seller, aka me. I am loading those phone #s onto my active worksheet to have that info in case we needed to contact you. With mine and Andy's knives we are now at 85 knives!!!!!:D:thumbup:;):p

The recent pictures of the box labels are deeply impressive. All are suitable and that's a rare situation, very fine choices indeed.

Can I ask if the shield has been decided on for sure yet? Was is propeller, bowtie or another?

Sorry for the delay if no one has shagged this question yet. The shield has not been decided on as of yet, at least to my knowledge. These final details will be hashed out with the manufacturer and us.

That's OK, was just wondering as the label pics show a Union shield I think- really excellent label choices, ALL good! Prop or Bowtie or some long shield will really enhance the knife's lines.

Will be ordering one in a few days time after pay-day, well before the deadline. I wasn't that keen on bottle opener as a secondary, but I've come round to it, makes sense on this pattern, thanks men:thumbup::D

Hi guys,
Thinking about ordering one of these also.
Do we have a "rough" idea when they will ship to us? I looked through a didn't see anything but I may have missed it.
Thanks guys!

At the latest they should be in your hand before Christmas, which is historically when they have gone out. But we would hope to get them out in late October/early November. Just depends on GEC's production schedule.

I wanted to post this in a new thread so it doesn't get lost in the knife order and/or discussion thread. This is Gene Kerley's (who also provided us with amazing labels) rendition of the 2011 knife. This is not the actual knife that will be produced by GEC. But Gene combined several photos and produced this image. It should be reasonably close to the knife GEC will produce. This should at least give you a good idea of what you will be getting. Personally, I can't wait.

Again, here is the link to the order thread.

Threads merged to keep the discussion in one place...however a permanent link for Gene's rendition has been left behind in the forum.

That looks awesome! Gene did a great job. I'm VERY excited for this one!

Nice job on the mock-up Gene. Are these knives going to have the same color (or reasonable copy) of the SFO knives that Waynorth had GEC make for him? Because that would rock.

Gene used the scales that were shown on Waynorth's knives from GEC, but probably had to modify the picture a little to make it work on the mockup. I told GEC that we wanted the same jigged bone that he did for Charlie.

So, what is it about this jigging?

It looks great, and I remember seeing a thread about it a while back, but I forgot the meat of it.

Does the jigging form around the curves of the knife, rather than being flat?

My gosh....... I have been AWOL for a while and almost missed this.
I will be getting 4 and will get the payment sent by the first of next week... 5 days or less.
Looks like it is gonna be another nice one!!!! :)

EDIT
...... Oops, almost forgot again. PayPal sent for 5 a few minutes ago. :)

I believe the shield is going to be a propellor. I had to make sure it was spelled correctly. :D

Ask and though shalt receive! Great photo and work Gene, this was the missing piece of this early puzzle.

Charlie (Waynorth) worked with GEC on the jigging. He started a thread a while back showing off the knife (and rightfully so). If you follow this link to the original voting thread for the pattern, it shows a picture of the knife Charlie received, and gives a clearer picture of the jigging.
