2011 Forum Knife Shipping Status

Sincere thanks for your thorough efforts, Andy. The knife arrived today and I could not be more pleased with it.

Have a great weekend!

Glad the knives are all on their way home. Great job Andy and thanks to the Bladeforum knife crew.

Received mine yesterday and it's perfect! This years crew did a stellar job, my thanks to all who were involved. Everyone have a great and safe holiday!!!

Got mine today. It's perfect! Thanks again to all those involved this year.

Hi Adam - Great! That is pretty good - your package shipped on 11/14 and you received it in Japan just 5 days later! I think you are the first international member to receive a knife.

best regards -

wow! Supersonic EO Jack!

Got mine yesterday! Thanks for all the effort involved in shipping out so many packages.

You could have won an egg drop competition with the way this thing was packaged.

Awesome! Just checked the track and confirm and mine went out for delivery from my local post office at 8:30 am, so I'll have it in hand today! Thanks so much to everyone involved in making this happen.

Mine arrived yesterday. SWMBO says it is perfect. Thanks guys for a job well done.

Just opened the box- I can't be happier! Thank you to everyone involved in this effort.
In fact I'm so happy I just ordered the HJ 5 in ebony.

Wow! That is fast. The mailman must have known how desperate I was to get it.

Oh baby, oh baby, really looking forward to this one. One is going right in my pocket.

I received my Bladeforums knife today and I am very pleased. I would like to thank everyone involved in getting this fine blade into my hands. Unfortunately I have been avoiding this forum since the one head moderator has been such a prick to me in the past and I have ceased to follow fine folders for a long while. I'll probably dump this fine blade on the bay but that means somebody else will get to enjoy this knife. If our head moderator dies I may come back and discus Traditional folders and fixed blades again. Thanks again to all. Do your worst.

Woke up this afternoon and my box was sitting on the kitchen table. I got the knife out and examined it. It really is perfect and the tube is cool looking as well. Not one single issue and you all know how discerning some people here can be with knives! I'm super impressed with the whole project. I appreciate everyone who had a hand in this.

I'm going to use my new bottle opener tomorrow when the Jags play. I'm thinking it'll be on a beer bottle....maybe on a few George Killian's Reds.

I'd like to get a break down of the info on the tangs if someone could advise. Do the dots have any meaning? What's the acronym on the other blade...I think it was "TIW". Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the dots started with last year's forum knife. That one had 10 and this one has 9. Kind of like Case's dating system based on the markings on the tang.

It's landed in the country!

Now comes the tricky part: I have to pry it out of the cold dead hand of Customs'..:D
