As much as I want to like case, I'm out if they're chosen...so far my track record with case is pretty bad, almost as bad as queen.

A least Case doesn't subscribe to the Queen Safety Edge theory. But good luck getting them to do a run that small.

I'm in for almost anything, although a peanut would be enough get me to pass.

This is true, just that 3 of 3 case i've bought had bad side x side play...if i get another Case knife i'd want assurances I'm not in for 4 of 4.

or the Yukon Hunter:

WOW!! +1 for a Yukon Hunter, what a beautiful knife!

My choices.

1. a large stockman from GEC with a serpentine frame.
2. the congress jack

I like the swayback jack the best, especially if GEC would make it. But for a pattern that is not too common, I like the congress jack.

How about using the GEC #66 frame, wharncliffe main blade, secondary coping and clip point for the third blade.
Or a 3.5" Barlow pattern with a coping main blade and secondary clip blade at 3/4 length.

I'm for a Jackknife-inspired knife:

Peanut
Yella (bone, not delrin)
Raindrop Damascus

If not Damascus, carbon steel with secondary scissors.

Ha!...Meako Sir...its the Aussies who are famed for winking at the sheep my friend...and they have tried their darndest to put that Rap on us Kiwis!!
well theyre too expensive eat at the moment so we need to find some use for the wooly blighters.
I just like the look of that horn.

We got GEC to make a new frame last time out, why not another? Something like this, around 3-3/4":

Wharncliffe saddlehorn trapper with copperhead bolster, in 440C or 1095.

Oh yeah. I'd vote for that in a heartbeat. Especially in 440C.

I'd like to cast another vote for large toothpick. I wouldn't mind some acrylic on this knife, maybe something festive. I remember seeing knives like this with stripes instead of swirls, and they were pretty cool.

I agree. Kryptonite acrylic looks great, I would not at all mind having some tasteful swirled/striped acrylic.
