2012 Catalog

Like the looks of the camp 10, might replace the outcast....

Thanks for sharing

Should the 3/4 ton and RJs be in this catalog?

I thought that Thomas said they would not be produced.

Maybe just the plain edge models RJ's were dropped. I thought I read that in another thread.

I thought the JYD's were discontinued, too. Hope the catalog's right and they aren't...

Some nice new products, but I'm a little disappointed that Kershaw seems to be moving towards Chinese knives lately.

All JYD's except the single one in the catalog are going.
And I believe Thomas just said that the new American made knives aren't listed but they will be coming out with more.

glad to see the 1050 back. kershaw classic right there. can't tell for sure but the 1990 brawler looks to have a spanto tip to me.

I think the rake is going to be good to have back. I never picked one up, but I always liked it.
also, can Thomas give us any specs on the camp 10? the catalog says "carbon steel" and that just isn't good enough.

It seems there are only 6 manual folders listed in the 2012 catalog, looks like I will have wait and see.

That just pushes me over to ZT. They are taking more of the maxed out production capacity with their line of wonderful knives. Don't think of it as moving towards Chinese knives. Think of it as filling the bottom of their line with some well made cheap knives. Get people hooked on the cheap stuff and then move them up to the great.:D

As a card carrying Union man that is hard for me to say. But because they are maxed out and do not want to expand their US operations they have little choice.

I do wish they were called by a different name, but that would hurt sales. But you could call them Kershaw Blue or whatever. And save the great Kershaw name for US and Japanese models.

I hate what has happened to Gerbers "good" name when they flooded the market with their lower end import models.

Just my 2 cents so don't hate.

The catalog is a wonderful piece. Less market fluff, more information to help make good decisions. Nicely done!

I'm glad to see Kershaw getting competitive in the fixed blade market. That Diskin Hunter looks real nice.

Do you see how many USA Kershaw's are available?

This catalog is a dealer catalog, and not really designed for consumers, but we'll show it off on the site. Thanks for the compliments.

Yikes... just saw the Kurai, which is an imported knife with carbon fiber bolsters. It would've been a home run knife if it had 14C28, but I'll still pick one up if the price isn't too high. On another note, I'm definitely going to pick up one of those black Blurs, a few Cryos and a Knockout if Kershaw makes a composite bladed version.

I think for the size of knife and it's intended Gentlemanly type carry and use that Chinese steel would get the job done. I'm interested in see how much it runs too.
