Oh I gotcha'--just letting you know why it's thin. The good news is if it ever fails on ya' Condor will take good care of you.

I have no doubt, Condor is a great company that seems to take CS very seriously. Other than the swivel the sheath is very well made although i wish they had cut the top to fit the blade a bit better. The sheath is very nice considering the price range.

I get the feeling that generation 2 of the Warlock will be seeing the throat of the scabbard change shape. :)

I can't say why but the lochness is the one I want. Everyone else is talking about the Engineer Bolo or golok. Once again it looks like I'm that "special" kid. The warlock is very cool also.

It's a stout little thing! Reminds me of the US M1917 "bolo" knife. Would be good for chopping, prying, digging, etc. It's a lot more of a hard-use design than I had originally thought it would be!

I bought the Warlock,Pack Bolo,Village Parang-used them this weekend, they are all awesome-the Warlock is like an axe(a little bit more fun :D though) ,the pack Bolo is great may have to take down the girth on the handle a little bit,the VP is great all around-what's cool also is that you can use the spine on all these for small clearing jobs w/out having to use the blade all the time. The sheaths are great heavy duty and nice looking(not sure about the rivets yet?)

The guys at Condor are doing some serious homework-cant wait to see what else they got up their sleeve ;)

Well I know at least three things that should be out next year. A socket handled 18" machete that's like an overgrown Bushman, one that looks like an Outback machete blade on a Speed Bowie handle, and my Baryonyx machete design. :)

I'm interested in at least 6 of them. Waiting for some reviews first, but I will obtain them. Most wanted is the Engineer bolo and HD Kukri.

Whenever the heck I get my actual main shipment in I'll be sure to post my impressions. Maybe pics, too. It just sucks having a broken camera--using my webcam or my lady's phone just doesn't quite cut it! :p

I got my HD Kukri yesterday and it's a beast. 28.5oz knife alone. It's heavier than my 15" Himalayan Imports Ang Khola.

I enjoyed looking and handling the Condor line at this year's Blade Show. I purchased the Pack Golok there from them. It was certainly a lot easier to handle the various blades there at the show versus at a retail store. I handled the Viking machete there and I do believe I agree with 42 Blades that I will like it. You know there are always a few that I want that I have not purchased or seen. I noticed that the handle is thinner than my Puerto Rican and I know I will like it better.

The other thing I noticed was the the handle on the Pack Golok is thicker than the regular 14" Golok. The Pack Golok is quite the beast!

Condor was selling stuff left & right. Had planned on picking up some of their throwing knives with my boys on Saturday. By the time we got over there, they'd sold out of almost all their throwers. Managed to at least get a set of Throwing Stars & 1 Scepter Thrower. My youngest bought a necker & my oldest got a necker & a Nessmuk.

Weight doesn't bother me one bit. I have a knife from Bruce that weighs over 2 pounds, easily. I like the feel of heavier knives in my hand. Hits with an impact ;)

i'm like Little Bear--I like the weight just right. Not too heavy, but not too light. Essentially I like to have things dialed in to where I can do the most with the least. Lighter is better...except when it's not! Heavier is better, too...except when it's not! :p

Gotta agree with you on that. My brother has 2 khukris that weigh over 2lbs each. I wouldn't want to clear a lot of land with them. But I think you could probably stop a water buffalo with one chop. :D

Got the Warlock sharpened up a bit more and its starting to grow on me. Im still not a major fan of the sheath as its hard to resheath the knife and such but the knife itself is growing on me.

Nothing's changed on the ETA that I know of, so I'd guess still the end of next month. :)

Good GOD man, where are the pics/reviews & thoughts on these new blades, by the peeps that have them ??? You gotta give us sumpthin to tide us over !!! LOL :D Patient people we ain't ! LOL :D
