Just got an email from BladeForums member rnsams asking to be added to the list, and have added him in the recently vacated spot #27.
Since we now have a hard deadline for deposits (Aug. 31, 2012), anybody else who wants to get on the list, or anyone already on the list who wants to get a second knife, is welcome to do so as long as they get their deposit in by the deadline.

Sounds good. This way if people don't pay, they don't get one. Simple as that. It would be wrong to keep extending the deadline just so people that slack off can pay on time. If there are a few left over because people haven't paid and someone else on the list hasn't bought the left overs, Darrel can probably sell them at a show.

I've also opened up spots #41-45. Additionally, Darrel's offer of a $10 reduction on the cost of each knife if we make it to 50 still stands.
One can always hope. I already paid in full though.
Yeah, I don't think it's all that likely that we'll reach 50. But if we do, I'm sure Darrel et al. will figure out some way to get the $10 discount to those who already paid in full.
He's probably waiting until everyone's signed up, so that he doesn't have to call and change his serial number repeatedly.
