Mention it when you call to put down the deposit, and Stephanie should be able to put a note to tighten the pivot on the work order/sales record that she enters into the system.

Sorry for any confusion, but since you did post about getting on the list before it closed and just weren't able until now to check back and clarify whether you'd accept a spot other than #16, let me know if you want onto the list and I'll add you. That'll bring the total number to be produced to 36. You can have #36 or, if you'd like a (slightly) lower number, the #31 slot that I'm currently in (with me moving down to #36).

That was following up on a post from a while back before the list officially closed on Aug. 1. But if you want one of these knives and are able to get the deposit paid by this upcoming Friday (Aug. 17th), I don't see any reason not to add you since it wouldn't delay the process of ordering materials, starting production, etc.
 
I know this is stupid, but what does this do to the serial numbering? This would be 37..

Since mndart -- who had committed before the list closed but hadn't been added due to the misunderstanding about #16 discussed above-- got on the list, it's been at #36, so adding a few more people will hopefully allow us to get back up to another round number (40). That, in addition to the fact that every additional person makes it a bit more economical for Darrel and won't delay production if they get their deposits in promptly, is why I'm letting a few more folks onto the list.

I think we should have a final cut off # and when we hit that # thats it, thats all. Then everyone should have a week to come up with the $

I'm just allowing a few more people on while we're waiting for everyone to get their deposits in. When I talk to Darrel sometime in the next day or two, I'll get a definite cut-off date by which everyone (including the people who were only added to the list recently) has to have their deposit in, upon penalty of being dropped from the list.
 
No worries Neuron I didn't mean for it to come off that way, I'm just super excited about this Gunhammer :thumbup: And great job with handling all this forum knife logistics I have no doubt this knife will be worth the wait:D
