^^^ Good! That's what I was expecting.

This is even better now that Darrel doesn't have to sell the "left overs" at a knife show. Even though I know it's no problem, now it's zero risk. :)
 
I really feel bad that some people might have forgotten about this project and forgot to pay the deposit, but we can't keep extending the deadline ad infinitum. On the bright side, if this is well received, I'm pretty sure this project can turn into an annual thing.

Oh well, can't win em' all. At least those folks had a chance, if they were unable to make a deposit or forgot, then thems the rubs. What we need is an HTM Collectors Club. :cool:

A very good question I believe. Because we have several related threads getting us to this point, perhaps something like a "Build Thread" to show the status and or projections would be useful.
 
I'll be giving Darrel a call today or tomorrow to check up on things.

I'll get final word from him on which people haven't paid, and thus which numbers are available for those of you who have expressed interest in ordering a second knife. (Any of the 40 that aren't claimed in that manner will likely just be sold at shows.)

I'm down for a 2nd knife. I figure by the time they are done, I can send the payment in full and be even on the finance side.
 
I've been really busy lately and haven't been on the forums much, but I'm paid in full and have updated the list to reflect that.

There's a major development with DDR/HTM that will be taking place in the very near future (within the next week or two), so I doubt that the forum knife will be started until after that.

(And before anyone asks, Darrel asked me not to say what's happening, but I'm sure he'll reveal it in good time. Don't worry, though, it's going to be a very good thing for Darrel and his company, and for all of us who love his knives. :) )
