Fantastic work Ron.... have a great time!
Thanks for posting Jimmy Chin knives. Don't get to see much of his work anymore and that's a shame....

I'll post pictures of Jimmy's knives for the show towards the end of the week or over the weekend.

One of us will have to get them off him long enough to take some pictures though, that won't be easy. :D:thumbup:

Every one of these knives - yours and Jimmy's - is ridiculously nice. Your ladder patterns are unbelievably tight. Otherwise , , , words fail me.

When I look at these knives, it reminds me of why I became interested in custom knives in the first place.

Oh my! That's all just too knice! Outstanding work!

Ron, I wish you, your wife, and Kyle a great trip. I am sure that you all will have a wonderful time with Jimmy. Just stunning knives. Tell Jimmy hello for me, and I know his show will be a big hit. Did I say stunning knives? That walrus bowie really does it for me.

Hey Ron, your knives so far look awesome!!! :D Great work, I can't wait to see them in person.

Here are five knives I took last year to the Knife and Life Show in Taipei. I had lots of people wanting me to bring them a hunter like the one on the right in this pic and a few integrals like the one here, only with some different damascus so that's what I've been working on making for this year's Jimmy Chin Micro Show.

Here are two of the 10 or 12 knives I will be delivering to the show. I am also working on four more hunters right now and when those are finished I'll be making three integrals. I'll post a picture of the hunters I'm working on tomorrow. I am really looking forward to the show this year, Ron and Jimmy are really great guys to hang out with and their knives are always so fantastic to look at. :) Jimmy is really stepping out of the box in Asia by putting on his own show this year in Taipei and I’m privilege to be a part of it. :)

The 5 1/2" blades are from some of the most complex composite mosaic damascus I've done to date and the handles are of Ebony. The fittings are stainless steel and silicon bronze. I'll post pictures tomorrow of the four blades I'm working on.

Awesome work and pictures.

Your damascus is among the cleanest, best defined I've seen.

OUTSTANDING work Ron, Jimmy and Kyle. The damascus patterns, handle materials and craftsmanship are just amazing.

The photos are outstanding also.

It no doubt it will be a fantastic show!

Will be looking forward to seeing more pictures:D

Good to see that your knives are coming together Kyle. Looking good.

This thread has the potential to grow into several pages of length with the additional photos of knives still being finished up, plus coverage and photos of the show I plan to post. So before it gets along any further I wanted to thank all you guys again whether you are a collector, a knifemaker peer of ours or a person just enjoying the photos, thank you for your kind words. Ron

That first elephant hunter just steals the show for me. I haven't been in Taipei in several years....

Awesome bunch of knives, Ron's are what really inspire fellas like me to try that little bit harder and challenge ourselves to push on to the next level.....
Cheers Bruce
