2012 LE Bladeforums Skyline Discussion

Thanks guys- thought I had lost an essential skill or something! ;)
 
mail came today. nope again.
i notice people on the other side of the planet have started receiving theirs now. sigh.
beer time again tonight, since no mail until next wednesday = another week. thank god for beer.

i must have driven my parents insane when i was a kid and i had to wait for something. because i am bothering myself pretty good right now, and i am a far bigger and more tolerant fan of me than anyone else i know. they must have wanted to beat me with a stick.
 
Mine has been In my pocket since I got it , its all dirty. I can use my thumb studs no problem, its all about technique. I press on the stud hard to dimple it into the tip of my thumb , then flick. This is only for rightys. These thing are top notch,

Received my 2012 LE Bladeforums Skyline when I got in from service work late Saturday, nice knife. Looking forward to 2013.
I give a big thank you to Spark and Bladeforums for making the 2012 knives possible, a lot of orders and packaging to work with and with patience it all comes together.
Happy New Years to my Bladeforums friends and family.

Anybody have any idea where we stand on These ( how many are shipped, or when mine will get here!) Sorry to be impatient but this waiting is driving me crazy. Probably driving my girl even more crazy

Iam just glad Iam not the only one still waiting ......LOL
I feel your pain ........... Iam sure they will be along pretty soon though.
 
Just got back from holiday travels and found the much anticipated white box! The waiting was worth it. Opened the box and discovered serial #0208 sitting there! Thanks to everyone who made this possible. Even with all of the pictures, this knife is still just too amazing in person.

I have a question. What is the 2012 LE Bladeforums Skyline? Is this a specially made Kershaw knife available for purchase by forum members, or is it something else (like a prize or something). I can't seem to find a link on the forum and everyone seems to know what it's about... but me. )-:

Yes its just for us 500 special friends of spark , we all promised to give him back rubs and cook him supper while listening intently to his sorrows :p.
Just kidding, your first guess is correct. You are a tad late to the game, maybe watch the for sale forum and you could get lucky?
