2012 Traditional Forum knives HAVE ARRIVED

Tried to dig this info out of previous threads ... is the BF 2012 blade material 440C or 1095? I'm looking at mine and I just can't tell.

The blades are 1095.

Also, it's a Great Eastern product, if the tang says Cyclops then it's 440c, otherwise it's 1095.

mine arrived in Germany today, much faster than I thought it would. I am really happy with it. I'll get some scenic photos of it on the weekend perhaps.

I love the blade shapes and distal tapering. The fit and finish, as others have mentioned, is really very good.

Thanks again to all involved. I shall enjoy carrying and using this beaut....once I've whipped up a sheath.

Mine arrived yesterday. I was kinda spazzing out a little figuring it would hit the border about the same time Sandy did. But alas I had nothing to worry about the knife is beautiful and was well worth the wait.

Arrival specs
Color: On the lighter side of the tea green spectrum I think(could just be bad lighting, haven't had it outside yet.)
Pull: Probably about a 5 or 6 on the clip and a 4 or 5 on the wharn.
Fit and Finish: I can find no flaws.
Sharpness: Good, a workable edge.

I will try to get some pics up in the other thread soon.
