2012 Traditional Forum knives HAVE ARRIVED

It's bigger in hand than I though....but that's great! Perfect knife to add to my edc rotation, and my first double blade! I should have ordered 2...... GEC has earned another customer with this one:)
 
Got mine yesterday. Beautiful knife, great ft and finish. Not particularly sharp out of the box, but that is easily remedied.

Does anyone find that when the blades are closed, the back corners of the blade are too sharp? Does anyone bevel this to prevent tearing of pockets or hands?
 
Got mine last night. Very impressed. Very obtuse and not quite sharp edge, didn't get a chance to sharpen it, should be a breeze with the thin edge though.

Mine arrived yesterday. Fit and finish on the knife is great, and it is a nice piece! Could be a bit sharper from the factory, but that is easy enough to remedy.

I'm still just not sure I'm a traditional knife guy, as it doesn't really "speak" to me. I'll give it some time though, and we'll see. Thanks to all who made this knife possible! :thumbup:
 
Finally got mine last night. Beautiful F&F. No gaps, polished tang, nice swedges, gorgeous bone scales with nice color too. Mine came dull too but that's nothing I can't fix with a little effort. It's only 1095 so reprofiling isn't an issue. I'm very pleased with this one, thanks to everyone involved!
 
Mine came yesterday. Fit and finish are perfect. A great knife for weekend chores.
 
Just got mine 10 minutes ago. That's pretty fast delivery to Japan.

It's bigger than I imagined (Not a bad thing), the scales look and feel "warm". I love the wharncliffe, the blade height seems just right.

Thanks again to everyone that had a hand in this and also to Kevin for shipping internationally at a VERY reasonable cost.
 
Got mine, great looking knives! Stuck one in my pocket and it carries great. Put it on my night stand and in the morning it was gone. Found it hidden in my daughters room, she tried to "adopt"it. It is back where it belongs, at least in my mind. Steven
 
I have found this knife Carries exceptionally well in the coin pocket of my Levi's. I think it will stay there for quite awhile too.
 
Man I can`t wait. I just hope mine comes before monday, I`ll be off to work again, and not be home for the next 2 weeks. I am SO ready for a new knife. I just hope it comes safe here, I`ve recently moved, and the first thing I did was update the adress for spark.
 
Came today and it's quite nice....love the blade configuration. Beautiful knife. I'll have to snap some pics this weekend.
 
Got mine yesterday nice knife overall.As others have stated wasn't really sharp out the box an I think the edges on the back of the clip point are a little sharp but fit and finish are good. It also quickly and easily takes a patina. I cut up one apple and already have one started.

Great knife, very pleased. Possibly the best F&F of any of my pocket knives. Nice size & much better looking in the flesh than I was expecting.

Is mine the first of the Aussie knives to arrive?

After carrying for several days this is my big complaint. Going to have to stone them as they are sharp enough to actually cut a hole in my pocket.

I noticed this also as I was fondling it I was like ouch that's sharp! :eek: BTW thanks to you I carried mine today also :D
