2013 BF Traditional Forum knife update

I was just kidding. The real covers are going to look sooo nice, what with the skulls laser-etched into the titanium and all.

Hey, no charging extra for the whining if you are going to provoke it. I clearly asked for mine in Zombie Lime Green G10. :D

Looking good. Any decision about the closed length?
Mike

I might be wrong, but I'm reasonably sure that the frame is the same used in GEC #61 Congress knives, which is 3 5/8" closed. I was hoping for a slightly shorter knife, yet it's fair to use an existing frame to reduce the cost and add more features (extension spring and so on).

Here's all the previous forum knives with the packaging.

Knife looks great! I'm not a huge fan of the bar shield, just so plain and boring looking. But overall it looks really, really good. I'm excited about this one. Thanks for all the hard work guys.

I think the bar is a good look, and the knife looks great! Thanks again to all involved for all of the hard work.

How does one get on the list to purchase one of these 2013 knives, or is too late?

The owner of the forum has a web store. When ready, they will be available for purchase there. However, that is still a ways away.

I am really looking forward to this year's Traditional BF knife. It looks like its going to be a top-notch/custom-quality jack knife.

We're working on it. ;) We posted some pics either in this thread or the other one last week. More to come soon.
Was GEC the only company to respond? It's a bit disappointing to think that Queen, Canal Street, or whomever can't be bothered to make a knife that is basically pre-sold. The quantity grows every year as well.

That has me wondering as well.
