I'm excited, but not overly anxious. I know we'll reach the mark soon enough. I'm just happy to have mine paid for, and know I have a great knife coming.:D

I did say in the original thread I would be down for one, but with the medical stuff going on I'll probably have to try and source one from someone who buys multiples at a later date...still excited to see how it turns out and glad it went ahead this year.
 
I'll admit I haven't followed the selection process carefully.
And I don't want to order blind, but I'm always interested in the BFC traditional.
Could someone post or PM me with a link or pics of a knife that is at least close to what you all are ordering?

Question: Does the pre-order charge your card/account immediately, or does it simply place a hold that is charged when the knife ships?
The only other pre-orders I've done are with Knifeworks and Kershawguy, and in those cases, the latter applied.

I placed an order using PayPal and the entire amount was deducted immediately. I think Spark needs half the cost of the full order up front so GEC can start production.

I am very close to placing an order, very tempting. going back to school in September for a trade so money will become tight, severely reducing my knife purchasing, otherwise I'd order without hesitation. I still think I'll order one but I need to think it over a bit more. Very tempting.

I finally managed to scrape up enough to order a couple. We ought to be getting close.
 
110 I estimate, but there are people waiting to get the cash together. Another 15 to go before blast-off.
 
This looks like it will be good, but I may not be at the same address in a few months time.

If I pre-order, will some sort of address confirmation / final order process come out when shipping time comes?

Yes, last year it was like this, I'm sure this year will be the same. Otherwise just send an email to Spark.
