2014 Canadian Knifemaker Guild Show Review..now with Murray's pics

Looking forward to your images Coop. I have been playing with some new ideas lately but still not satisfied with the final result totally but will see as I learn more about the program I am now using called Perfect Photo 8.5. I have a few others to play with too. Just a matter of taking time to learn. Mark was not one to leave any knives for me to photograph -- had a few and that took awhile as you well know. Not sure how you do the volume you do. I found my auto exposure with the Nikon 995 which I used since 2001 to give more accurate exposures than what I am now getting from the Panasonic L1 which I have had for a number of years but have not used much and decided not to just leave it sitting in a bag. My old method was not only accurate but very fast -- just very small file size. Ok for web which is where my images are made for as I have zero interest in being in business. All my efforts are for the knife community and CKG.

Thanks for the pictures RL & Murray; it's nice to re-live the show as well as see some items that I overlooked. :foot:

I'm looking forward to the March 2015 show near the Toronto airport.:thumbup:

Thanks, Murray!

Some stunning knives, for sure

And Matt Lerch looks a lot better in your picture than when I last saw him at Blade. :p:D
