No marsupial stew for the tradewaters, then. Coneys sound good, Dres. Just so long as you save some for more jerky, that is. That was some pretty tasty dried meat.

It'd be fun to do the one stick fire comp again, and since I didn't get to participate in the primitive bow, maybe that, too? All the rest sounds good. I can bring some fish from the seacoast, or even steamers or lobsters if anyone's amenable.Slingshot contest?
Tomahawk throwing?
Burgers?
Chili?
BBQ chicken?
Any ideas or requests.

Do you guys do this more than once a year? I'd love to go but I'm busy that whole weekend :-(
Welcome to the forum!
There has been talk of having a gathering in the spring and fall. One at this location and the other at the Radeke Cabin in NH. The only thing with the cabin it is a PITA to book. The dates go quick. Hang out here for a while and keep an eye out. We give plenty of time to plan to attend.
Here it the thread about our time at the cabin this spring.

Doritos are a survival item not an addiction.
So are cheeseburgers.
Toasted marshmallows dipped in Bailey's are one way to survive a campfire situation too. Somebody has to do it.
