Come on two blade:D
I have a single blade about that size in my rotation and a couple smaller double blade knives also. Wanting a double about this size for the void.
Not that I won't be very happy with whatever we get.

Chris

The 2-blade was up by 9 when I submitted my vote about a week ago! What happened?!?!?!

".
Also- from the spanner in the works dept - if we look at the votes (and this comment is purely observational ) Single blades have more votes than 2 blades by almost double.Food for thought.

And conversely the double blade has three times the competition and is leading the polls!

I have no problem with the CSC offering, but the GEC fits me better based on the extras within the design- swedges, bolster treatment, varying nicks/pulls.......

I do hope that CSC continues to offer suggestions for patterns in the future- competition is good, but the extras away me in GEC's direction

Didn't order a forum knife last year but also did not vote... voted this year.. how much is it?(+ or - of course) and how do I order one?

CSC was still a viable option at that point. IIRC it was ROUGHLY CSC Stainless at 55 votes, GEC Single at 65, and GEC 2 blade at 75 when the votes started going almost entirely to GEC. The single blade closed the gap pretty quickly it seemed (maybe around 80-85 votes each?), but it has see-sawed since then.

A real cliffhanger it is.

I don't remember the exact pricing off the top of my head but it seems like the single blade was going to be in the mid to high 70's and the 2 blade was in the low to mid 80's. Ordering info isn't known at this time it is still just in the voting stage. :)

Definitely a can't-lose situation. Great job by both parties.

I had to vote for the GEC single, though.

I don't see why GEC (if they in fact do win the polling) couldn't make 150 of each, 1-blade and 2-blade. They almost never make over a hundred of any of their runs, so why should ours be any different?

I suspect Charlie set the quantity at 300 to get such low prices and that for a normal (100) GEC run the prices would not be this low.

Interesting observation and I think its always good to view things from another angle:thumbup:

Well isn't this going well?! Everyone seems happy. Great knives. Great prices. Great stuff :)

I don't frequent Traditional much, but I did buy last year's BF knife and I voted on this year's. Just wanted to thrown my dibs to buy at least one, more likely two (especially if in the $70-80 range) of this year's (in case anyone is keeping track for level of interest).

Like I said, not really a traditional knife kinda guy, but I do really like the idea/tradition of a BF knife as a part of the overall BF community and I'm glad to see it continuing - especially having missed out on all of the ones prior to last year.

Thanks to Charlie for putting this one together and everyone that had a hand in the 2013 knife!

Not to stick too much of a fly in the ointment, but if you consider all the CSC votes are for a single blade as well, then it isn't even close.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming. :D

Looks like I may need to get my family members to sign up and vote! 2-blade is falling behind!
