Not to stick too much of a fly in the ointment, but if you consider all the CSC votes are for a single blade as well, then it isn't even close.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming. :D

I don't know about that, since CS only offered their knives in single-blade configurations. I think it's possible that many people voted for Canal Street's offerings based upon steel type or design preference. Had CS offered a two-blade option and a single-blade option, I think we would likely be seeing the same race between them as we are with GEC. ;)

I'm in!

I voted early!!

And I've changed my mind at least a dozen times!!! Only one vote though.

I like them all and will buy one whatever wins!!!!

K.K.

It's been awhile, I've been incredibly busy over the last few months and have only had a chance to lurk once in awhile. I am very glad to see a 2014 knife, and stag too!
As I have one of the Canal Street Barlow's in stag (AG Russell special) which is pretty similar to the choices here, I have to go with the GEC. I like more than one blade, so the two blade received my vote.

Thank you!
Griff

I held off until now, and just voted for the Canal Street. I agree with John Lloyd's comments about stag looking best in a bare-end style (and with no shield). This way it keeps the color and figure. I also like the sunken joint on the CSC--that shows some really good design.

I wanted something a little different, hence my vote for the 440 CS. However, I like the look of all of the offerings and am in all the way! I love the nice close race, it looks like it will come down to the wire.

I'm confident my choice will win, :) then again I liked all the choices this year so how could I go wrong? :)

I'm not sure what your choice was, but if you think like me, no matter what the outcome, we're all going to win :-)

I'm comfortable with any one of the four choices but lean toward a two-blade GEC because it has two blades and is slightly longer than the Canal Street.

Will the GEC have an End Bolster or be bareheaded?

It will be bareheaded and nearly 3 3/4" long.

Warning! I lied! It has an end cap!

SORRY! A mistake on my part. Too much prune juice!

I don't remember the exact pricing off the top of my head but it seems like the single blade was going to be in the mid to high 70's and the 2 blade was in the low to mid 80's. Ordering info isn't known at this time it is still just in the voting stage. :)

I voted for the stainless csc because I've been wanting some stainless, but I will definitely be cool with any of the choices at that awesome price level. Especially with GEC's amazing quality.
