Looks like there one less for someone to buy...

Make that two less Glenn! :D

Got a little picture for y'all, been swedging blades ALL DAY! Well, most of the day anyway, at least when I wasn't keeping everyone else busy on their jobs lol. Sorry about the gnarly hand, when you get too close to those belts they bite!

Awesome swedge! Thanks for the pic, Eric!

Cool - keep the 'in works' photos coming :) I have just ordered mine - thanks for keeping the international shipping reasonable, it made the decision a bit easier. This is actually going to be officially my first traditional folder!

Beautiful swedge, Eric, but talk about working your fingers to the bone  Put a band-aid on that and be careful!

Great action shot, thanks! I am toying with the idea of ordering a third for a Christmas gift...

Excellent job Eric. Other than the bite, the fact that you have your hands on this project just makes me smile since the knife will be more special to me.

Liam, that label is fantastic. Thank you again for adding even more.

I have five ordered. Christmas shopping is almost done!

My boy came into my room while I was admiring the knife pics and work in progress. Well, when a 14yo says that would be a cool knife to have, are you going to get one? I pushed the add to cart yet one more time for him.

So I'm doing my part to make sure there are none available at ship time. We don't want our dedicated volunteer dealers to be stuck with extra inventory, now do we? [emoji12]

Gus!! Man it's been a long time since I've seen that 'ol avatar, I'm glad you're going for one!! Now I really feel the pressure! :D

Thanks for the compliments folks, and that little scrape is nothing, pretty much an everyday occurrence in a knife shop.
Like George Jones says (as Skoal juice dribbles down his chin), "If you ain't bleedin' you ain't doin' it right!"

I'll have to show you a picture of his hands someday.

Charlie they're getting there, slowly but surely! ;) , if everyone keeps this ordering up they'll be sold out by morning!

Eric

Just ordered one! I'm still pretty new around here, but so far my experience on BladeForums has been great; everyone has been friendly and helpful, and I probably wouldn't have found the two Beer Scouts I wanted (one for myself, one as a gift for my Uncle) without the Exchange. Plus, this is a great looking knife; couldn't pass it up. Can't wait to see it in person!

Me and you are on the same page buddy! :D
I ordered two just to pick out the one with better covers.

I wish I could afford one more as well, but other things have kept me spending elsewhere (namely being single with two kids). Maybe we need an official trade thread after everybody gets theirs to see if trading into scale patterns more your style is feasible. I'm sure I'll be happy with mine, like with last years knife, but if a couple of us see one that catches our eye more......

Excellent job Eric. Other than the bite, the fact that you have your hands on this project just makes me smile since the knife will be more special to me.

I agree, nice knowing that the guy that fought for us is also one who has to put up with our "sensitivities", and great knowing that our knives passed through his hand at some point! We know Eric wasn't fighting to make the job easier at any rate, the amount of thanks I'm feeling toward those responsible just keeps growing.

Would be interesting to know what the jump was from how many sold pre pictures and how many after. :)

Exactly Gus, they're all special to me because of the friends involved and knowing Eric's mitts were all over these makes this one more so. It's so much easier to wait with out the pictures. Know the anticipation is causing me added stress. I think my head's about to explode. (If my head does explode, send my knife anyway ;) )

Aww Charlie, you shouldn't have ;)

I'm in the process of putting together a forum knife history thread with statistics, links to relevant threads and lots of member pics and WIP threads where available. My plan is to start backwards from this year's knife as those threads and polls are a lot easier to search and include. Here's a link to the current thread History of the Traditional Forum's Knife 2006-2015
