Just ordered my second one! The pics did it i cant wait to compare handles and see how it ages as i carry one and keep one new thank you to everyone that madethis possible

The handles are Bocote wood. Other than a few dings i don't think the appearance will change much with use.

I'm confused. Why does it say brand canal street cutlery but then says GEC as the manufacturer. Isn't GEC great eastern cutlery? Is canal street a sub division?

Since we're seeing knife pictures in progress. Here's the label in progress (mostly complete?).

Liam the label is AWESOME!!!!!!

Really liking that label, super cool!

In for my first forum knife, just couldn't pass it by this year.

The checkout page on Jack's site won't let you put more than 16 forum knives in your cart "based on availability". I infer that to mean there's only 16 more pieces up for grabs.

There's always a way to find out, I like your style. You'd make a researcher or purveyor of goods. Knowing what's available is essential to supplying it. ;)

That's the hack I use in order to make decisions on what knives to take out of a basket during checkout as my eyes and fingers select more than my accounts will allow!! Glad to know others use the same method!

Getting excited!

The label looks great!

This is my understanding. You are probably looking at the list of the knives that were put up for vote. Canal Street got the nod this time.

Barry's website lists this knife as being made by GEC under the picture. That is where the confusion is likely coming from. Like the other's have said, GEC has no part in making this knife nor are they affiliated with Canal Street.

Sorry about the confusion about the manufacturer; my bad. Problem corrected. :)

GREAT JOB ON THE LABEL LIAM! Very classy and I love the look. Thank you so much for donating your time and talent to the effort!!!

OK, listen up guys! I took ten knives from Int'l sales and moved them into US sales; this leaves 24 left for US and 6 for Canada with one Int'l left. (I can change these numbers if we run out of Int'l, for example.)

This is it! I've listed 315 knives for the total, 'cause that sly Charlie added some extras to the order. There likely will be a couple (maybe 4-5) stragglers after all are shipped and received by individual buyers.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE! EVER.

Nice Barry! almost there!

And Liam, what a great looking label, super cool !!!

What a design for this year's knife! And I love how the shield has been incorporated into the label.
